Daily Rental Rates
Canyon Bikes offers a HUGE selection of rental equipment for all ages and abilities. When you arrive at the bicycle shop, we help fit you to the best bike for your size, ability levels, and family or groups plans. All customers will be instructed on the use of the equipment, as well as safety issues.
Don’t worry about that time you rented a clunker bike on your last vacation. That will never happen at Canyon Bikes. Rental equipment is new each spring offering you state of the art performance and safety. All equipment is serviced regularly.
Hourly rates are based on how long the rental equipment is in your possession. To make the charges fair, rates are rounded to the nearest ¼ hour. Credit cards are required as a security deposit. We accept Mastercard and Visa.
Don’t worry if you don't know how long you are going to be riding. We time you out once you are fitted with your equipment, then when you return we time you back in. We figure out how long you have been gone and calculate the least expensive rate for your total time.
- Half day = 4 hours
- Full day = Over 4 hours and through the end of the business day
- Youth rates are children 12 and under

Included in your rental:
Free Helmet
All renters are required to wear a bicycle helmet. This helmet is comfortable, has a visor for sun protection, and an easy strap adjustment. There are plenty of vents in this model that allow for great airflow.
Free Handlebar Pack
Our handlebar packs are a great addition to your bike. Plan on taking a picnic with you since there are no restaurants or convenience stores along the bike trail. Just mother nature at its BEST! Our bags are large enough to hold your lunch, a small camera, sunscreen and a water bottle.
Free Bike Locks
Plan to picnic, hike, fish, explore or splash in the river! We include locks, so you can adventure at your leisure and keep your bike safe.
Other recommended items:
Water Bottles are a necessary item when biking the Canyon Trail. Our Colorado climate is a high mountain desert and is very dry. This is good for comfort when riding, but you will need a water bottle. Bring your own or purchase a souvenir Canyon Bikes water bottle at our shop. We’ll let you in on a secret: we keep Canyon Bikes water bottles in a fridge in our office with filtered water… take a cold one for the ride!
Sunscreen is a MUST! Since Glenwood Springs is just above 5,700 feet, the sun here can be very intense. Bring along your favorite brand of sunscreen or purchase a small tube at the bike shop. Sunscreen will fit perfectly in your handlebar bag along with your other necessities. Cameras are a good idea since you will be witnessing some of Colorado's most picturesque scenery. Amazing blue blue skies, deep green and blue water running in the Colorado River, canyon walls made of limestone, granite and red sandstone. Not to mention the flora and fauna you will see along your ride. Bring your own camera or purchase a disposable camera at our shop.
