Glenwood Canyon Recreation Trail

This is a kids tandem, where the child actually rides and front, but the parent still drives
Riding the Glenwood Canyon is our most popular ride! Make it a yearly tradition, you will see new things each ride!

This is our most popular ride, we even have customers who come year after to year just to bike the Canyon. Some even try to come each season – spring, summer, and fall. Everytime you ride the Canyon you will see something new!

The Glenwood Canyon Recreation Trail is 16 miles of pure Colorado beauty. You will bike along a paved trail, following the Colorado River. With breathtaking views of the river and the Canyon that can only be seen from the bike trail, this is an unforgettable experience!

This can be as short or as long of a ride as you and your group would like. Ride from our office or take the famous Canyon BIkes Shuttle and ride this trail in the DOWNHILL direction.  This downhill ride is doable for all ages, and allows you to enjoy every part of Glenwood Canyon.  You will not be disappointed.  Experience Colorado nature at its finest!  The shuttle leaves on a schedule each day, so call for times and availability.  Reservation are recommended.   Learn more»

The Rio Grande Trail

Biker stopped along Rio Grande trail to see Mt Sopris view
The Rio Grande trail has sweeping views of Mt. Sopris, the Roaring Fork, and more!. Photo by Jack Dysart, compliments of Carbondale Chamber.

The Rio Grande Trail is a Rails-to-Trails type of project. The trail follows the old railroad bed, connecting Glenwood Springs to Aspen. Along the way you will have sweeping views of Mt. Sopris and the Roaring Fork River, shopping and gallery viewing in Carbondale, great lunch spots for either dining out or having a picnic.

The Rio Grande Trail has two options: Leave from Glenwood Springs and ride as far as you like and turn around or take advantage of the RFTA (BB) Bikes on Buses and do the trial in just one direction. Learn more»
